CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REGARDING AUTHORIZING
SIGNATURES FOR CHECKS, WARRANTS
AND BANK SIGNATURES CARDS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
1. Authorizing Signatures. The following signatures are authorized
for checks, warrants and bank signature cards. Two signatures are
required with the provision that one signature shall be manually
affixed and the other signature may be affixed by plate or other
approved mechanical means on checks or warrants.
1.1 Prior to July 1, 1976. During the period prior to July 1,
1976, the authorized signatures shall continue to be
Edward G. Alario, City Manager, and Louise Coleman, Accounting
Officer, and the signature of William R. Anderson, Finance
Officer/Auditor, in the absence or inability of either of
said officers.
1.2 Commencing with July 1~ 1976. Con~nencing on July 1, 1976,
the authorized signatures shall be Frank J. Addiego, Acting
City Manager; William G. Anderson, Finance Officer/Auditor;
and Louise Coleman, Accounting Officer. Two signatures are
required with the provision that one signature shall be man-
ually affixed and the other signature may be affixed by plate
or other mechanical means on checks or warrants.
2. Bonds. Each of the named persons and officers shall furnish a
bond in the sums stated below covering the faithful performance
by such officers of the duties of their office, particularly with

respect to the issuance of warrants, checks and execution of
bank signature cards, and said bonds shall be filed with the
City Clerk'

3. Filing Certified Signatures with Secretary of State. In accord-
ance with Government Code Section 5501, each of said authorized
officers shall file with the Secretary of State his or her manual
signature, certified by said officer under oath, if said officer's
signature is to be affixed by plate or other approved mechanical
means.
4. City Treasurer's Signature. The City Treasurer's signature
authorizations shall continue as previously authorized and as author-
ized by the Government Code of the State of California, and the bond
sum as previously set shall continue to be $750,000.

duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
