RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SUBMITTING
THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND THE REPORT FOR
THE GATEWAY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO THE CITY
COUNCIL AND CONSENTING TO A JOINT PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON.
RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO:
1. This Agency does hereby find, determine
and declare as follows:
a. The South San Francisco Gateway Redevelopment
Project is with in the City of South San Francisco and within
a redevelopment survey area designated by resolution of the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco.
b. This Agency and the Planning Commission of
the City of South San Francisco cooperated in the selection
of the Gateway Redevelopment Project Area and in the prepara-
tion of the preliminary plan therefor.
c. That the Planning Commission of the City of
South San Francisco has submitted to this Agency a preliminary
plan for the Gateway Redevelopment Project Area which contains
all the matters referred to in Section 33324 of the Community
Redevelopment Law.
d. This Agency, in consultation with the Planning
Commission of the City of South San Francisco, has prepared a
Redevelopment Plan for the Gateway Redevelopment Project, a
copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit A and hereby
incorporated herein as though fully set forth.
e. A description of the boundaries of the Gateway
Redevelopment Project Area is as set forth in said Redevelopment
Plan, to which reference is hereby made.
f. Said Redevelopment Plan is based upon said
preliminary plan and conforms to the master or general
community plan insofar as the latter applies to the Gateway
Redevelopment Project Area.
g. Said Redevelopment Plan contains all of the
covenants, conditions, restrictions, descriptions, diagrams
and other data in all respects as required by the Community
Redevelopment Law of the State of California.
2. The Members of this Agency hereby recommend
approval of said Redevelopment Plan for the Gateway Redevelop-
ment Project Area and hereby authorize the Executive Director
of this Agency to forward copies thereof to the City Council
and to the Planning Commission of the City of South San
Francisco.
3. This Agency hereby consents to a public hearing
on said Redevelopment Plan for the Gateway Redevelopment Project
being held jointly by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco and the Members of this Agency pursuant to
Section 33355 of the Community Redevelopment Law at a time,
date and place to be fixed by the Council of the City of South
San Francisco.
4. The Executive Director is hereby authorized to
submit to the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
the report of this Agency on said Redevelopment Plan for The
Gateway Redevelopment Project.
