A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
FROM FLOYD S. HICKS AND BEATRICE E. HICKS,
HIS WIFE, AS JOI~tT TENANTS (EASEMENT FOR
SANITARY SEWER L'INE)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that-
1. The Grant of Easement by Floyd S. Hicks and Beatrice E.
·
Hicks, his wife, as joint tenants, a copy of which is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A",is hereby accepted by the City of South San Francisco.
2. The City Clerk is authorized to record or cause recordation
of said Grant of Easement in the Official Records of the County of
San Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the lSth day of
September , 1976, by the following vote'

EXHIBIT "A" TO RESOLUTION N0239-76 ADOPTED S~ptember 15, 1976
GRANT OF EASEMEN'I
FLOYD S. HICKS and BEATRICE E. HICKS, HIS WIFE, as JOINT TENANTS hereby grant
to the CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, a muncicipal corporation, as follows:
I. An EASEMENT for the purpose of constructing, placing, operating, maintain-
ing, and replacing a SANITARY SEWER LINE' across, above, and/or below the
surface of the ground over that certain real property situated in the City
of South San Francisco, County of San MateD, State of California, described.
as follows:
A ten (10) foot wide strip of land, the centerline of which is located as
follows:
Beginning at a point which b~ars southerly ll8 feet more or less along the
common boundary between Lot ll and Lot 12 from the intersection of the
southerly line of Escanyo Drive and the common boundary of Lot ll and Lot
12 in Block 41 as shown on that certain map entitled, "RANCHO BURI BUR1
MAP NO. 3~ SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA," filed in
the office of the County Recorder of San Iqateo County, State of California,
on September 8, 1954 in Book 40 of Maps at Pages 7°and 8; thence north-
easterly along said centerline to the intersection with the common boundary
of'Lot l0 and Lot. ll in Block 41 of the above named map, said point located
southeasterly, 172:feet more or less from the intersection of said common
boundary of Lot' No. 10 and Lot No. ll and the southerly boundary of Escanyo

II. A TEMPORARY. EASEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES, terminating at the end of
construction, described as follows'
Beginning at the westerly corner of the above described EASFMENT FOR SA)~ITARY
SEWER PURPOSES; .thence along the common boundary of Lot ll and Lot 12, south-
easterly, to the southerly corner of Lot ll; thence along, the southerly bound-
ary of Lot l l, northeasterly, to the easterly corner of Lot l l; thence along
the common boundary of Lot l0 and Lot ll, northwesterly, to the northerly
corner of said easement for Public Utilities; thence along the westerly bound-
ary of said easement, southwesterly, 40 feet more or less to a point; thence
along a line at right angle to said westerly boundary, northwesterly, five~
(5) feet more or less to a point; thence along a line southwesterly, 60 feet
more or less to the Point of Beginning.
