CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXEUCTION
OF THE AMENDMENT EXTENDING COOPERATION
AGREEMENT FOR THE THIRD HCDA PROGRAM
YEAR (1977-1978) BETWEEN THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE COUNTY OF
SAN MATEO
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that execution of the Amendment Extending Cooperation Agreement
for the third HCDA Program Year, a copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit A, is hereby authorized, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute said Amendment on behalf of the City, and the City Clerk attest his
signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a

AMENDMENT EXTENDING COOPERATIOY AGREE[~NT FOR
THIRD PROGR~U,~{ YEAR (1977-1978)
THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this 3rd day Of November
1976 _, between the COUNTY OF SAN MATE0, hereinafter "County",
and the CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO , a duly incorporated city
within the County of San Mateo, hereinafter "C

WHEREAS, City and County have heretofore entered into
a Cooperation Agreement for the purpose of applying for and
sharing in the proceeds of a Community Development Block Grant
under the provisions of the Housing and Co~nunity Dqvelopment
Act of 1974, which Cooperation-Agreement has been ~mended from
time to time in accordance with directives from the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development and in order
to extend the operation thereof~ as amended, from one program
year to the next; and
%FHEREAS, County is preparing its application for its
Community Development Block .Grant for the Third. Program Year
·
(1977-1978), and City desires to continue its participation in
the County's Housing and ComJnunity Development program and the
·
parties thus desire to ext'end the Cooperation Agreement, as .
amended, to and including the Third Program Year (1977-1978):
NOW~ THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED that the term of
the Cooperation Agreement, as amended, heretofore entere'd'into
by and between County and City be, and the same is hereby
extended to include the' ~hird Program Year (i977-1978), gnd all
provisions of said Cooperation D~reement as e~m. ended, save and
except any pro?ision contained therein referring to a term w~ich
mS different from that set forth above, shall remain in full force
and effect for the term provided herein.
