A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AMENDMENT 1-76
TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, UNIT I MANAGEMENT,
APPROVED JUNE 30, 1975.
BE IT RESOLVE~ by the City Council of' the City of South San Francisco
1. Amendment 1-76 to Memorandum of Understanding, Unit I Management,
July 1, 1975 - June 30, 1978, as appro?ed by Council Resolution No. 85-75
adopted June 30, 1975, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A",
is hereby accepted and approved.
2. The Amendment therein recited shall be made as therein provided.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the lStn day of December ,

AMENDMENT 1-76
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSIANDING
UNIT I - MANAGEMENT
July 1,1975- June 30, 1978
The City of South San Francisco (hereinafter, City) and Unit I -
Management (hereinafter, Unit I) acknowledge and affirm that they have
met and conferred in good faith, exchanged proposals and counter-pro-
posals, and in.all respects fulfilled their obligations under law to
meet and confer in good faith regarding the Amendment No.. 1-76 to the
Memorandum of Understanding - Management, July 1, 1975 - June 30,1978,
approved by Council Resolution No. 85-75 adopted June 30, 1975.
This Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding is the product of
the above-described meet and confer process. Representatives of'the
City have agreed to present this memorandum to the City Council for
determinatiOn and representatives of Unit I have agreed to present it
to their membership for acceptance .and approval.
1. The parties agree to amend said Memorandum of Understanding to
,
delete therefrom the positions of City Manager as a positionto be-
included in the provisions thereof. The amendment shall be made on
the face of the Memorandum of Understanding approved June 30, 1975,
as follows-
1.1. Page 1, paragraph 2(a), line 2, by striking a line through
the words "City Manager".
1.2 Page 7, paragraph 11(a), line 1, by striking a line through
the words "City Manager"..
1. of Exhibit "A'i
1.3 Page 8, paragraph 16, line 1, and 16(a), line 1, by
striking a line through the words "City Manager".
1.4 Page 9, paragraph 16(c) and (d) by striking a line
through the whole of each p.aragraph.

2. The representative of the City and representatives of Unit I shall
initial each of the above-described deletions.
