HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 175-1976 RESOLUTION NO. 175-76 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT DEED TO SANTO CHRISTO SOCIETY OF ' SAN MATEO COUNTY BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that' 1. The grant deed be executed conveying to Santo Christo Society of San Mateo County, a corporation, the parcel of property described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof.' 2. The Mayor and Mayor pro tem are hereby authorized to execute said grant deed on behalf of the City and submit same to a Notary Public for acknowledgment of si'gnatures.· 3. The City Cl~_rk is authorized to forward the original of the grant deed to Thomas B. Adams, Esq., ~'~ilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, attorneys at law, 630 North San Mateo Drive, San Mateo, California, 94401, for deposit in escrow, in the matter of"City of South San Francisco vs. Santo Christo Society of San Mateo County, a corporation, et al", S. M. No. 198 464. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South san Francisco, at a regu./ar meeting held on the 15th day of December , 1976, by the following vote- AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard A. EXIIll]J.'[' "A" TO RESOLUTION NO. 175-76 ADOPTED DECEMBER 15, 1976 The land herein referred to is situated in tile State of California~ County of San Mateo: City of South San Francisco, and is described as fo llows: Beginning at the intersection of the northeasterly line of Mission Road and the Southwesterly prolongation of the Northwesterly line of lands described in Deed from South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a corporation to Pietro Ucelli, date~ October 17, 1917 and recorded October 29, 1917 in Book 266 of Deeds at Page 372, Records of San Mateo County~ California; thence along said Southwesterly prolongation North 54° 26' 25" East 34.59 feet to the beginning of 591.19 foot radius curve whose center bears North 37° 37' 24" Eas. t; thence southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 13° 13' 09" a distance of 136.40 feet to the northwesterly line of Oak Avenue; said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING for this description; thence continuing along said curve through a central angle of 0° 31' 17" a distance of 5.38 feet; thence South 66° 07' 02" East 46.47 feet to a tangent curve concave to the north having a radius of 20.00 feet; thence generally easterly along said curve through a central angle of 90° 00' 00" a distance of 31.42 feet; thence North 23° 52' 58" East 36.00 feet to a tangent curve concave to the east having a radius of 240.00 feet; thence easterly along said curve through a central angle of 30° 34' 51" a distance of 128.10 feet to a point of tangency along the northwesterly line of Oak Avenue; thence along said northwesterly line South 54° 27' 49" West 206.85 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
