CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COM~tENDING FRANK J. ADDIEGO
·
WHEREAS, Frank J. Addiego has contributed to the welfare of this
community i n that:
He accepted appointment as Acting City Manager upon a vacancy
occurring in that office on the 1st day of July, 1976;
He conducted the office of City Manager in a manner which pre-
served the administrative efficiency of the City and contributed to a rebuild-
ing of employee morale;
He diligently pursued the balancing of the City budget which was
then out of balance by the sum of $ 764,474 , and produced a balanced
budget for adoption by the City Council;
He assisted the City Council in the recruitment of a City Manager;
He organized the affairs of the office of City Manager in such a
manner as to enable an efficient and effective transition of duties to the
new City Manager;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to express its appreciation
therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that Frank J. Addiego be commended for his contributions
to the welfare of the City of South San Francisco, hereinbefore set forth.
