CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT
O- 6 ,' 1~76-77 OPERATING BUDGET
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that, after duly considering the staff report dated
April 6, 1977, subject 1976-77 Street Resurfacing Program,
Phase II-Project No. ST-76-2A, which is attached hereto as
Exhibit A, the Council does hereby order that the sum of twenty
thousand dollars ($20,000) be transferred from Gas Tax 2107 Reserves
to Account No. 12-4328-264-52.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco at a ~e~r meeting held on

To pave the remaining steets and lanes as shown above, it is necessary for the
City Council to ~ppropriate additional funds of $20,000. If the Council chooses
to complete the streets and lanes from 1 to 1'4, the lowest responsible bidder
under the Alternate Bid is O'Grady Paving, Inc., of Palo Alto. The following
is a tabulation of the Alternate Bid list:

Adoption of a resolution awarding either the Base Bid to Gray & Lewis or the
Alternate Bid to O'Grady Paving will authorize the staff to proceed with the
project. .
FUND ING'
The 1976-77 Public Works Divisi'on Operating Budget contains an appropriation of
$100,000 for street resurfacing. $70,359.41 of these funds were spent last Fall
for overlay leaving a balance of $29,640.59 for Phase II of the Resurfacing Program.
