CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF SUPPLEMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR SEWAGE DISPOSAL
BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AND THE NORTH SAN MATEO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco and the North San Mateo
County Sanitation District have heretofore entered into an agreement,
dated March 4, 1968, relating to the collection, treatment and disposal
of sewage which, in Section 1.6 provided for periodic review and adjust-
ments of rates; and in Section III.4 provided for periodic changes, alter-
ations or supplementation of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, representatives of the parties to said agreement have
reviewed said agreement and have determined upon certain changes in the
provisions thereof which are to be effective January 1, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the public convenience and necessity will be served
thereby;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, .as follows:
1. That the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation,
shall make and enter into a supplement to agreement by and between the
North San Mateo County Sanitation District and the City of South San
Francisco covering joint sewage disposal by and between said parties,
in form a copy of which has heretofore been presented to this City
Counci 1.
2. That the public interest, convenience and necessity of the
City of South San Francisco will be served thereby, and that said supple-
ment to agreement be and it is hereby approved.

3. The Mayor of the City of South San Francisco be and he
hereby is authorized to execute said supplement to agreement, and the
City Clerk is authorized to attest his signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 4thday of
~ay , 1977, by the following vote:
