RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AMENDING
1981/82 OPERATING BUDGET OF THE REDEVELOP-
MENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO APPROVING EXPENSES AND COMPENSATION
FOR AGENCY BOARD MEMBERS AND APPROVING
EXPENSES FOR THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
RESOLVED, by the Members of the Redevelopment Agency
of the City of South San Francisco, that
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the
Community Redevelopment Law, the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco by ordinance declared that there is
a need for the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South
San Francisco to function and declared itself to be the Rede~ ~
velopment Agency; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law,
(Section 33320 of the Health and Safety Code) the governing body
of the Agency consists of the City Council which has been serving
in a separate capacity as members of the Redevelopment Agency;
and
WHEREAS, §33114 of the Health and Safety Code provides
that members shall receive their actual and necessary expenses,
including travel expenses incurred in the discharge of their
duties and may also receive compensation pursuant to law; and
WHEREAS, ~33114.5 of the Health and Safety Code pro-
vides that compensation shall not exceed Thirty Dollars and
no/100ths ($30.00~ per member for each meeting of the Agency
attended by a member; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Director of the Agency has
incurred actual and necessary expenses, including travel expenses
in the discharge of his official duties and will continue to
incur the aforesaid expenses; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has determined that, and the
law so provides, and that it is in the best interest of the
Agency to provide for the payment of expenses including travel
expenses and compensation for the Members and to provide for
the payment of automobile and related expenses for the Executive
Director in the discharge of his official duties;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. The Agency members shall receive their actual
and necessary expenses, including travel expenses incurred in
the discharge of their duties and shall receive compensation
of Thirty Dollars and no/100ths (.$30.00) per member for each
meeting of the Agency attended hy the member with the condition
that no member shall receive compensation for attending more
than four (~) meetings of the Agency during any calendar month.
2. The Executive Director shall be compensated in
the amount appropriated in the General Operating Budget (revised)
attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by refer-
ence as though set forth in its entirety, for automobile and
related expenses incurred in the discharge of his duties during
fiscal year 1981/82.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Redevelop-
ment Agency of the City of South San Francisco, held November 18,
1R81.
