RESOLUTION NO.
67 -77
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
STONEGATE RIDGE UNIT NO. 1 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
SOUTH ACCESS ROAD
(PARKWAY DRIVE)
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that the public interest, convenience and
necessity require, and that it is the intention of said Council
to make changes and modifications in the engineer's report filed
pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 4271 adopted by this
Council on August 16, 1965, as follows:
1. Change and modify the work to be done and the plans
and specifications therefor to provide for the acquisition of
lands for the opening of a new street to be named Parkway Drive
from Stonegate Drive southerly'and westerly on a curve to Chestnut
Avenue, and the improving thereof by grading, removing trees,
bushes and existing structures and the construction therein of
base pavement and wearing surface, Portland cement concrete curbs,
gutters and drivewaYs, A. C. berm, street lights, street signs,
striping, storm drainage facilities, sanitary sewer mains, manholes,
and appurtenances, together with the acquisition of all lands,
rights of way, easements and rights and the construction of all
improvements auxiliary to any of the above and necessary to
complete same.
2. Change and modify the estimate of cost to increase
the total amount thereof by $22,023.40 and to include therein
the cost of acquisition and construction of Parkway Drive as
described above; ~change and modify the assessment to increase it
by said amount and tO apportion and distribute said increase in
proportion to benefits.'
3. Change and modify the assessment diagram to reflect
said acquisitions~
The Engineer shall make said changes either on the face
of the assessment or by filing an amendment thereto.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wednesday, the 15th day of
June, 1977, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the regular meeting place
of said Council, West Orange Avenue Library (in the room referred
to as the Auditorium), 840 West Orange Avenue, South San Francisco,
California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where
said Council will consider the matter of making said- changes and
modifications and 'hearing all protests and persons interested
therein.
The City Engineer of said City be, and he is hereby designated
as the person to answer inquiries regarding any.protest proceedings
to be had herein, and may be contacted during regular office hours
at the City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San~Francisco, California,
or by calling (415) 873-8000.
The City Clerk of said City shall cause a copy of this
resolution to be published once in the Enterprise joUrnal, a

newspaper of general circulation published in said City and the
paper in which the Notice of Improvement under said Resolution
of Intention was pUblished, and to be mailed to all property
owners whose assessments are increased, said publication to be
at least ten days before said day of hearing, and said mailing
to be at least 20 days prior to said hearing date.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this '18th
day of May , 19'77, by the following vote:
