HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 94-1977that: RESOLUTION NO. 94-77 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE GENERAL .PREVAILING RATE OF PER~'DIEM.WAGES'IN SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco 1. This Resolution establishes the prevailing rate of per diem wages in accordance with Labor Code section 1770, et seq., and applies to all further work performed under contract from and after the date of adoption, except that it is not applicable to work carried out by the City of South San Francisco with its own forces. 2. The prevailing rate of per diem wages hereto attached, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof, was determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations in accordance with Labor Code section 1773 and related sections, and shall be the prevailing wage for each craft, classification, or type of workman employed on public works in the City of South San Francisco, from and after adoption of this Resolution, and the same is hereby adopted and approved as the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid such crafts, classifications or type of work- man. 3. Three (3) copies of the prevailing wage scale hereby adopted shall be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk and made available to all interested persons, 4. Each call for bids, bid specifications and contract shall include a reference to the prevailing rate of per diem wages hereby adopted. 5. City shall cause a copy of the prevailing rate of per diem wages as herein adopted to be posted at each public site in accordance with Labor Code section 1773.2. 6. This Resolution shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco.
