RESOLUTION NO. ll5 -77
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEERS
STONEGATE RIDGE UNIT NO. 1 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
SOUTH ACCESS ROAD (SUNSET AVENUE)
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 67-77 of this Council
adopted on May 18, 1977, this Council has duly ordered changes and
modifications in the proceedings under Resolution of Intention
No. 4271 adopted on August 16, 1965, and certain engineering work
is required to implement said changes and modifications;
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be
served by appointing and employing engineers for said work in
connection with said changes and modifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That Murray-McCormick, Novato, California, be and
they are hereby appointed as Engineer of Work and employed to do
and perform all engineering work necessary in and for said proceed-
ings, including all preliminary surveying, preparation of plans,
profiles, specifications, estimate of costs, diagram and assess-
ment, setting grade stakes and supervision of work; that David L.
Glendenning of said Murray-McCormick, or his authorized agent, is
hereby designated to make and sign any certificate or document
required to be made or signed by the Engineer of Work; and that
their compensation be and it is hereby fixed as follows:
a) Office (Design and coordination)--Time and expense,
not to exceed 15% of cost of construction;
b) Construction (Staking and supervision)--Time and
expense, not to exceed 10% of cost of construction.
2. The Director of Public Works of said City is hereby
directed to examine and approve the engineering documents, and to
provide inspection of the construction of said improvements and
to accept said work when done to his satisfaction. The cost of
said inspection shall be assessed as an incidental expense of said
proceedings.
3. That the fees provided to be paid in Section i be
assessed as an incidental expense of the proceedings and not be
payable otherwise'by the City.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 3rd
daY of August , 1977, by the following vote:
