HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 129-1977RESOLUTION NO, ./.29-77 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING SELECTION OF KAISER-PERMANENTE HOSPITAL AS THE NORTH SAN MATEO COUNTY EMERGENCY SER- VICE · BASE STATION. WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors is considering the selection of a base medical facility for Northern San Mateo County, and WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo, the City of South San Francisco and Kaiser-Permanente Hospital, 1200 E1 Camino Real, South San Francisco, have an on-going paramedic program with Kaiser-Permanente Hospital serving as the base hospital, and WHEREAS, the Kaiser-Permanente Hospital physicians and staff are completely familiar with emergency medical service procedures and have developed an efficiently operated, coordinated system for assisting the paramedic functi on; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said Council respectfully recommends that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County select Kaiser-Permanente Hospital, 1200 E1 Camino Real as the base station for emergency medical service for North San Mateo County. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned rec~ular meeting held on the 24th day of Auqust 1977, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN Richard A.
