CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE
"C" STREET WITHIN THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
PROJECT '
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
California, as follows'
1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act
of 1941 (Streets and Highways Code Section 8300, et seq.).
2. Notice is hereby given that Wednesday , the 19th day of
October , 1977, at 7:30 p.m., which time is not less than fifteen (15) days
from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the West Orange Avenue
Library (in the room referred to as the Auditorium), 840 West Orange Avenue
South San Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when
and where all persons interested in, or having objections to the proposed
vacation of "C" Street as dedicated and existing prior to the present devel-
opment, as hereinafter described, may appear before said Council and be
heard.
3. Not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing date, a copy
of this Resolution shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a
newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said City in
the manner prescribed by law for publishing ordinances in said City.
4. Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution
of Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicu-
ously along the line of the street, or part thereof proposed to be
vacated,at least ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing, and
,
not less than three (3) notices shall be posted.
5. The public interest and convenience requires,and it is the
intention of this Council, to vacate "C" Street within the Housing Author-
ity project as shown on the map entitled "Lands of Housing Authority of
the City of South San Francisco", which is on file in the office of the
City Clerk, and which is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, reserving and excepting from said vacation the easements and

interests described in Exhibit "A".
6. A copy of this Resolution shall be submitted to the Planning
Commission of the City of South San Francisco for a report and recommenda-
tion in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Fran
cisco at a reqular meeting held on the 7th day of September ,
1977, by the following vote:

the arc of a curve' to the left, tangent to the last mentioned course, with a
radius of 187.00 feet, a distance of 92.34 feet to a point of compound curve;
a radial line at the point of comppund curve bears N 35o 19' 23" E; thence on
the arc of a curve to the left, with a radius of 516.12 feet, a distance of
237.61 feet to a point of reverse curve, a radial line through the last men-
tioned point bears N 8o 56' 43" E; thence on the. arc of a curve to the right
with a radius of 118.50 feet, a length of 299.21 feet to a point; thence tan-

gent to the last mentioned curve, S 63° 37' 00" W 97.00 feet to a point;
thence on the arc of a curve to the right, tangent to the last mentioned

S 35o 19' 23" W 237.00 feet from the most Easterly corner of "C" Street at
the most Southerly corner of Block 13 as shown on the above described map.
Thence from the said point of beginning on the arc of a curve to the left,.
the long chord of which bears S 67o 51' 57" E 258.33 feet; a radial line at
said point of beginning bears N 35° 19' 23" E, with a radius of 566.12 feet,
a distance of 260.63 feet to a point of reverse curve, a radial line through
the last mentioned point bears N 8o 56' 43" E; thence on the arc of a curve
to the right with a radius of 68.50 feet, a distance of 172.96 feet to a point;
thence tangent to the last mentioned curve, S 63o 37' 00" W 97.00 feet to a
