CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE
AN EXISTING STORM SEWER EASEMENT
WITHIN THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco as follows:
1. This Resolution of Intention is adopted pursuant to the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law, Section 50430, of the Government Code.
2. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the
intention of this Council, to vacate and abandon the storm sewer ease-
ment described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, which easement is unneces-
sary for present or prospective public use.
3. Reference is hereby made to the map entitled "Lands of Housing
Authority of the City of South San Francisco" attached hereto as Exhibit
"A", on file in the office of the City Clerk, for particulars as to said
storm sewer easement to be vacated.
4. Notice is hereby given that Wednesday, the 19th day of October ,
1977, at 7:30 p.m., in the West Orange Avenue Library (in the room
referred to as the Auditorium), 840 West Orange Avenue, South San
Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and
where all persons interested in or having objections to, the proposed
vacation of the storm sewer easement as herein described, may appear
before said Council and be heard.
5. Notice of the vacation of said storm sewer easement shall be
posted conspicuously along the line of said easement or part thereof
le
to be vacated at least ten (1.0) days prior to the date set for hearing,
and said notice shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart and not less
than three (3) of said notices shall be posted.
6. Notice of the vacation of said storm sewer easement shall be
published in the' Enterprise-journal, a newspaper of general circulation,
published in the City of South San Francisco, and said notice shall be
published at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing.
7. A copy of this Resolution shall be submitted to the Planning
Commission and City Planner of the City of South San Francisco for a
report and recommendation in accordance with Section 50435 of the Govern-
ment Code and Resolution 24-77 adopted by the City Council on February
23, 1977.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of

EXISTING Sl'ORM SEWER EASEMENT TO BE ABANDONED
A portion of a strip of land 10..00 feet in width as said strip was
described in that certain Deed of Easement from the. Housing Authority of
the City of South San Francisco, a public corporation',, to the City of .South
San Francisco, a municipal, corporation, recorded in the Office of the Recor-'
der of the County of San Mateo, State of California on November 9, 1954
in Book 2684 of Official Records, at page 535, described as folllows:
Commencing for reference at a point a distance of 476.48 feet south-
easterly along the northeasterly line of "B" Street from the southwesterly
corner of Block 12 as delineated on :'Map of Section, West of the Railroad
of the Town of Baden" which map was filed in the Office 'of the County Re-
corder of the County of San Mateo, State of California in Book "E" of maps
at page 62, running thence along the southeasterly line of aforesaid strip
of land the following 3 courses- North 710 47' East a distance of /9.14
feet; thence North 430 33' East a distance of t37.85 feet; thence North 42°
01' East 21.05 feet to the true POINT OF BEGINN!NG; thence from sai(l true
POINT OF BEGINNING continuing along said southeasterly line North 42° 01'
East 202.80 feet; leaving said line northwesterly from a tangent bearing
North 67o 29' 45" West on the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of
'57.00 feet, subtending a central angle of 11o 06' 52", an arc distance of
11.06 feet to a point in the northwesterly line of aforesaid strip of land;
thence along said northwesterly line South 420 01' West 202.19 feet; leaving
said line South 69o 30' East 6.62 feet; tangent to the last said course,

on the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of 72.00 feet, subtending
a central angle of 30 19' 30", an arc distance of 4.18 feet to the True
POINT OF BEGINNING.
