Home My WebLink AboutReso 155-1977 RESOLUTION NO. 155-77 · CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE nARRYRAF ~ANF ANn PORTIONS OF ATHY DRIVE AND MEATH DRIVE, SKYLINE VILLAGE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, as follows: 1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Streets and Highways Code Section 8300, et seq.). 2. Notice is hereby given that wodnesd&y , the ~gth day of october , 1977, at 7:30 p.m., which time is not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the West Orange · Avenue Library (in the room referred to as the Auditorium), 840 West Orange Avenue, South San Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place -. when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to, the pro- posed vacation of Barryrae Lane and portions of Athy Drive and Meath Drive as hereinafter described, may appear before said Council and be heard. 3. Not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing date, a copy of this Resolution shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a news- paper of general circulation printed and published in said City in the man- ner prescribed by law for publishing ordinances in said City. 4. Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution of Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously along the line of the street, or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at le Resolution of Intention (Continued) least ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing and not less than three (3) notices shall be posted. 5. The public interest and convenience require and it is the inten- tion of this Council to vacate Barryrae Lane and portions of Athy Drive and Meath Drive in Blocks 2 and 3 of Westborough-WestPark No.1, described as Parcels "A", "B" and "C" in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference,and as shown on the plat entitled "Description Plat" attached hereto as Exhibit A-1. The public interest, convenience and necessity require the reservation of easements and rights of way des- cribed in said Exhibit A as Parcels "6", "I", "J", "K", "L", "N", "Q" and "R" and as further shown on the Description Plat designated as Exhibit A-2. 6. Reference is hereby made to the plat entitled "Description Plat · Parcels' A,B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K& L" dated January 27, 1977, pre- pared by Theodore V. Tronoff, Survey No. 8085, Drawing No. M-2, and the Exhibits previously referred to, all of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk. 7. A copy of this Resolution shall be submitted to the Planning Com- mission of the City of South San Francisco for a report and recommendation in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California.
