CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION PROHIBITING SMOKING OF TOBACCO
IN DESIGNATED AREAS OF CITY OWNED BUILDINGS
WHILE MEETINGS ARE IN PROGRESS.
that:
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
1. The following meeting rooms shall be posted by signs of suf-
ficient number and in such locations as to be readily seen by persons
within such rooms, designating fifty percent (50%) of the total area in
such rooms where smoking of tobacco is prohibited while a public meeting
is in progress:
1. Council meeting room
West Orange Avenue Library
(in the room referred to as the Auditorium)
840 West Orange Avenue
South~San Francisco, California.
2. Council conference room
City Hall
400 Grand Avenue
South San Francisco, California.
2. Smoking of tobacco is prohibited while a public meeting is in
progress in the two rooms above described at the dais or table used by
City Councilmen or members of boards or commissions in conducting said
meetings and the staff tables adjacent thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 5tn day of October
19 77 , by the following vote:
