A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO'
EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION PLAN BY THE ADDITION,
DELETION, AND MODIFICATION OF CERTAIN CLASSES
BE Il RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the employee Classification Plan, as amended, is
further amended as follows'

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
This position is under the direction of the Director of Finance and has primary-
responsibility in the areas of internal audit and procedural reviews', administration
of grants and City enterprise funds, systems and procedures develop.ment and
providing assistance involving professional judgement. ~
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Performs internal audits and conducts operational reviews of all City Departments
to include cash handling and revenue procedures, internal controls, and examination
of fiscal transactions; reviews and developes systems and procedures in conformance
with generally accepted accounting principles and provides"for its documentation
and dissemination; performs or supervises the administration of grants to ensure
compliance with requirements; performs Or'supervises the administration of enter-
