HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 192-19770134A-11a WJML:KIJ:dh 10/26/77 RESOLUTION NO. 192 -77 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE GELLERT BOULEVARD EXTENTION PROJECT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT PHASE I -- GRADING RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California that WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773, et seq., of the Labor Code of the State of California, the City Council of said City has caused to be obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, the --_ general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in the locality in which public work is to be performed, for work of similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No. 52-77, adopted by the City Council on May 4, 1977; WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 1773.2 of the Labor Code of the State of California, said City has caused to be published, at least one time, a copy of said prevailing wage scale in the Enterprise Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the County of San Mateo; and WHEREAS, said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifications for said project, copies of which are on file in the offices of the Director of Public Works and City Clerk of said City; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED and ~RDE~ED, as follows= 1. That said wage scale, as obtained from said Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, is hereby determined to be the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work for any public work proposed to be performed herein. 2. That not less than said rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention. 3. That a copy of said wage scale shall be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk and shall be made available to any interested party upon request. 4. That a copy of said wage scale shall be posted by the Contractor at each jobsite where any work is proposed to be performed. * * * * I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of.So.ut.h San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 2nd day of November 19.77, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEMBERS Emanuele N.
