RESOLUTION NO. 198 -77
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 52-77 ENTITLED
"A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ACQUIRE AND CONSTRUCT
IMPROVEMENTS AND TO FORM THE GELLERT BOULEVARD
EXTENSION GRADING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT" AND
DETERMINING TIME OF CITY CONTRIBUTION
GELLERT BOULEVARD EXTENSION PROJECT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that Section 11 of the Resolution cited
the title' is amended to refer to a "MAP Showing Boundaries of
Gellert Boulevard Extension Project Assessment District" dated
October, 1977, instead of April, 1977.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's contribution to the
project, as provided in said Section 11, shall be made at' the time
of award of contract for the Phase Ii work, as identified in the
plans and specifications, or .at such time as construction of the new
K-Mart building on Diagram and Assessment No. 1 is commenced,
whichever is later.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a new Section 13(a) is added to
said Resolution, to read:
"13. (a) Notice is further given that should there be
publicly owned operative property within the assessment district,
certificates or serial bonds to represent the unpaid assessments
against publicly owned property in use in the performance of a
public function and bear interest at the rate of not to exceed eight
percent (8%) per annum, will be issued hereunder pursuant to Section
6467 or Chapter 4.5 (commencing with Section 6468), Part 5, Division
7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the
Improvement Act of 1911, the last installment of which certificates
or bonds shall mature not to exceed twenty-four (24) years from the
second day of June beginning with the fiscal year next following the
date of the bonds."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held this 2nd day of November
1977, by the following vote:
