HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 206-1977 RESOLUTION NO, 206-77 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS AND ESTABLISHING CONDITIONS OF REVERSION OF BLOCK 3 AND A PORTION OF BLOCK 2, WESTBOROUGH-WEST PARK UNIT NO, 1 (VOLUME 61, PAGES 12 AND 13, SAN MATEO COUNTY OFFICIAL RECORDS). WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, initiated on its own motion a reversion to acreage of Block 3 and a por- tion of Block 2, Westborough-West Park Unit No. 1, Volume 61, pages 12 and 13) preliminary to the processing and approval of a new development entitled "Skyline Village, A Condominium Project," and WHEREAS, the Council, after duly considering the matter on November 2, 1977, at a regular meeting at which all interested persons were heard, finds that (a) dedications or offers of dedication to be vacated or abandoned by the reversion to acreage are unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes, (b) dedications or offer of dedications to be accepted as shown in the Owner's Certificate on the Reversion to Acreage Final Map and Sheet 2 of said map are necessary for present or prospective public purposes, and (c) all of the owners of an interest in the real property within the subdivision have consented to the reversion; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that: 1. Conditions of Reversion. As conditions of reversion, the City Council requires the following: 1.1 Dedication to public use of all easements under, on or over those certain strips of land designated as"Public Utility Easements" (P.U.E.) and'grainage Easement~'(D.E.), all as shown on the reversion to acreage map, and dedication to the Westborough County Water District of all non-exclusive easements under, on or over those certain strips of land designated "Westborough County Water District Easement" (W.C.W.D.E.). 1.2 Retention of all previously paid fees to accomplish the purposes of Government Code Section 66499.11, et seq., and related City ordinances. 1,3 Retention of improvement securities or deposits to ~accomplish the purposes of the Government Code. 2. Approval of Map and Acceptance of Easements. The City Council hereby approves the final map, Reversion to Acreage of Block 3 and a Portion of Block 2~ Westborough-West Park Unit No. I (Volume 61, Pages 12 and 13, San Mateo County Official. Records) and authorizes execution, filing and recordation thereof, and further accepts the easements dedicated to the City of South San Francisco designated as Public UtilitY Easements (P.U.E.) and Drainage Easements (D.E.), as shown on Reversion to Acreage Final Map are hereby accepted. 3. Filing and Recordation. The City Clerk be and he is hereby author- ized to record or cause recordation of. said final map Reversion to Acreage in the Official Records of the County of San Mateo. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 2no~ day of November 1977, by the following vote: e AYES, COUNCILMEN,Richard A.
