HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 226-1977WJ~fL:JLC:dm 11/30/77 RESOLUTION NO. 226-77 RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO DISPOSE OF REAL PROPERTY BY SALE AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE THEREOF RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, San Mateo County, California, that: WHEREAS, this City is authorized by Section 37350 of the Government Code to dispose of real property when said property is no longer needed for public purposes by this City; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the California Environ- mental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, a categorical exemption analysis with respect to the sale of the real properties more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and here- by made a part hereof, dated December 1 , 1977, has been prepared by the City staff pursuant to which a Notice of Exemption, dated December 1 , 1977, has been filed in the office of the City Clerk and the County Clerk of San'Mate° County; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows: 1. The real property more particularly described in Eghibit "A" attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof is not needed for public purposes by the City of South San Francisco and the disposition of said property would be for the common benefit. 2. It is the intention of this Council to dispose of said real property by sale to the highest bidder, at not less than fair market value, pursuant to the provisions of Section 37350 of the Government Code. 3. Said property is no longer necessary for the City's use, and in the opinion of this Council it is not capable of park or recreational development. 4. The Clerk is hereby directed to cause written notice of this Council's intention to dispose of said property to be given in accordance with Sections 54222 and 54226 of the Government Code. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 7th day of December , 1977, by ~the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, COUNCILMEMBERS Richard A.
