CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING PARTICIPATION
IN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 2 -
PHASE B-3, BY THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO.
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has established Underground
Utility District No. 2 and desires to proceed with Phase B-3 thereof as
shown on the location map attached hereto as Exhibit A, and
WHEREAS, the proposed Underground Utility District for the underground-
ing of utilities in connection with the State's E1 Camino Real Widening Proj-
ect includes approximately 2,900 lineal feet of unincorporated frontage of
the total of approximately 12,000 lineal feet of the district frontage, and
WHEREAS, the preliminary estimate for the total project is $900,000
and the cost estimate of undergrounding the overhead utilities within the
unincorporated area is $330,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that:
1. The City Council of the City of South San Francisco requests that
the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo participate in the
Underground Utility District No. 2 - Phase B-3, by contributing County under-
ground funds for the utility relocations on E1 Camino Real in the sum of
$330,000. ,
2. That the Director of'Public Services furnish any and all necessary
information to the County Board of Supervisors and departments of the County
of San Mateo necessary to support this request.

regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
