CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING GUS
NICOLOPULOS FOR HIS SERVICES TO
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
WHEREAS, Gus Nicolopulos has dedicated twenty-four and one-half years to the
law enforcement program in the City of South San Francisco and effectively contrib-
uted 'to that program as a Police Officer and Sergeant and Training Manager, and
WHEREAS, he has generated a deep respect for law enforcement as well as for
his individual talent and dedication through the following activities'
Northern Region President of the California Association of Police
Training Officers
State President of the California Association of Police Training Officers
President of Peninsula Peace Officers Association
President of Police Athletic League
Instructor in Administration of Justice and Police Science.
WHEREAS, recognitions include~%an of the Yeaf'by the Catholic Young Men's
Institute of South San Francisco for his work with PAL and Veterans of Foreign
Wars' Citizenship Medal Award, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to commend him therefor and by this Resolution
permanently record in the official records an expression of appreciation for his
contribution to the welfare of this City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the Council does hereby commend Gus Nicolopulos for'his contribution
to the law enforcement service of South San Francisco and the welfare of this com-
munity, and does by this resolution express and permanently record in its official
records this expression of appreciation.
