RESOLUTION NO. 249-77
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
GELLERT BOULEVARD EXTENSION PROJECT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
PROJECT NO. ST 77-5
RESOLVED, by the City Council of ~the City of South San
Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of this City did in open session on
the 30th day of November, 1977, publicly examine and declare all
sealed proposals o'r bids for the work to be done and improvements to
be made, as described and specified in the Resolution of Intention
No. 52-77, adopted by this City Council on May 4, 1977, to which
resolution reference is made for a description of the work and
improvements to be done and the materials, supplies and equipment to
be furnished therefor; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to and considered by this
City Council at its meeting on December 21, 1977;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That this City Council hereby rejects all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the supplies, materials and equipment necessary therefor,
to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
M. L. Dubach, Inc.
Davis, California
at the unit prices named in their
bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to make
and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder, and
to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the
City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest his signature
and affix thereto the official seal of said City.
3. The City Clerk shall, within five (5) days of the adoption
of this resolution, transmit an Extract of Public Works Contract
Award to the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of
Apprenticeship Standards, P. O. Box 603, San Francisco, California
94101. Should a finding of any discrepancy regarding the ration of
apprentices to journeymen be made, the City Clerk shall notify the
Division of Apprenticeship Standards of such findings.
I hereby certify that the foregoing, resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of
December, 1977, by the following vote:
