CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FOR
THE SUBREGIONAL DECHLORINATION FACIL-
ITY SITE AND RELATED ACTS.
WHEREAS, the following agencies are acquiring a subregional
dechlorination facility site in the percentages designated, to
wit: City of South San Francisco, an 18.12% undivided interest;
City of San Bruno, a 7.49% undivided interest; the City of Bur-
lingame, a 20.20% undivided interest; the City of Millbrae, a
26.17%undivided interest; and the City and County of San Francisco,
a 28.02% undivided interest, in that certain real property more
particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorpo-
rated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, said agencies have deposited funds therefor with
the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, as
lead agency for said subregional dechlorination facility project,
and
WHEREAS, a grant deed from New England Mutual Life Insurance
Company has been deposited in escrow with Title Insurance and
Trust Company, said escrow being No. 441014-RWC, and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corpo-
ration, as lead agency, first having been duly authorized by the
other agencies, desires to deposit in said escrow the purchase
price, funds for redemption of improvement bonds for amended
assessment Parcel 70, Cabot, Cabot & Forbes Industrial Park 2A
and pay other related escrow closing costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco that:
1. The Director of Finance is authorized to issue a war-
rant payable to Title Insurance and Trust Company, Redwood City,
California, against account 90-4519-674-92 in the sum of Eleven
Thousand Four Hundred Eight Dollars and Forty-two Cents ($11,408.42),
consisting of the following charges:
Purchase Price $ 9,273.40
Title insurance premium 117.50
Escrow fee 60.00
Call and payment of bonds
for Amended Assessment
No. 70, Cabot, Cabot $
Forbes Industrial Park
Unit 2A 1,957.52
2. The Director of Public Services is authorized to deposit
said check in Escrow No. 441014-RWC, Title Insurance and Trust
Company, 333 Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, together
with resolutions of acceptance of the grant deed or certificates
of acceptance by the respective agencies.
3. The City Clerk is authorized to record or cause recorda-
tion of the deed with the County Recorder of the County of San
Mateo.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 4th
day of January ~ 1978 , by the following vote:

All that certain real property situate in the. City of South
San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California,
described as Parcel 38 on Parcel Map -- , recorded in
Book 50 of Parcel Maps at Page 47, Sa~--Mateo County Records,
said ~al property being more particularly described as
follows-
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of said Parcel 38;
thence from said Point of Beginning northwesterly along
the southwesterly line of said Parcel'38 from a tangent
that bears N42°15'52"W along the arc of a curve to the
left having a radius of 161 feet and a central angle of
2°50'54'', an arc distance of 8.00 feet to a point of
compound curvature; thence continuing along said line
tangent to the preceding curve along the arc of a curve
to the left having a radius of 91 feet and a central angle
of 44 °38' 14" an arc distance of 70.90 feet; thence leaving
the said southwesterly line N55°41'30"E 80.00 feet; 'thence
S32°44'22"E 66.00 feet to a point on the southeasterly
line of said Parcel 38 thence southwesterly along last-
said line S55°58'52"W 39.12 feet to the Point of Beginning
and containing 0.080 acres of land, more or less.
