CITY'COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
RICHARD A. BATTAGLIA
WHEREAS, Richard A. Battaglia contributed to the welfare
of this City during his service as Mayor and as City Council-
man, and
WHEREAS, the City also benefited from his service as a
member and Chairman of the City's Personnel Board, member of
City's Capital Improvement Committee and member of the Oyster
Point Marina Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, he has contributed leadership, wisdom and ener-
getic involvement to improve the quality of life in this City
and in other areas by serving effectively on regional boards,
advisory boards and committees, and supporting many undertakings
by other civic agencies, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
desires to express appreciation to him and commend him therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco that said Council in recognition of
the contributions made by Richard A. Battaglia.does hereby ex-
press appreciation to him and does hereby further permanently
record in this resolution its commendation therefor.
