CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
LEO PADREDDII
WHEREAS, Leo Padreddii contributed to the welfare of this
City during his service as Mayor and as City Councilman, and
WHEREAS, he served the interest of the City and the cause
of international understanding through his efforts to obtain
the City of Lucca, Italy, as a Sister City, and
.WHEREAS, the City also benefited from his contribution to
the Board of Trustees, South San Francisco Unified School Dis-
trict as member and President, and to the San Mateo County Con-
vention and Visitors Bureau and PeninsuIa Water Agency, and
WHEREAS, he has contributed leadership, wisdom and ener-
getic involvement to improve the quality of life in this City
and in other areas by serving effectively on regional boards,
advisory boards and committees, and supporting many undertakings
by other civic agencies, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
desires to express appreciation to him and commend him therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco that said Council in recognition of
the contributions made by Leo Padreddii does hereby express
appreciation to him and does hereby further permanently record
in this resolution its commendation therefor.
