REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA FOR STUDY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of Calfornia
(Commencing at Section 33000 of the Health and Safety Code) provides authority
for the designation and description by resolution of a Survey Area; and
WHEREAS, Section 33310 of the Health and Safety Code speccifically author-
izes the legislative body of a City by resolution to authorize the designation
of a Survey Area by resolution of the members of a Redevelopment Agency; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by its Resolution No. 178-84 adopted on October
24, 1984 found that it is necessary that a Survey Area be designted to study
the feasibility of a redevelopment project in the general area of the U. S.
Steel plant parcel located east of Highway 101 in South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did by said Resolution No. 178-84 authorize the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco to designate the
redevelopment Survey Area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
South San Francisco that:
1. The Redevelopment Agency hereby designates as a redevelopment Survey
Area the area composed of San Mateo County Assessor parcel numbers 015-010-010,
015-010-150, and 015-010-160, as shown and described on the map attached hereto
as Exhibit "A."
2. The Redevelopment Agency hereby finds the designated Survey Area requires
study to determine if a redevelopment project or projects within said area are
feasible.
3. The Planning Commission is hereby requested to carry out such study
and, in cooperation with the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San
Francisco, to select a redevelopment project area or project areas from said
Survey Area, and to formulate and adopt a preliminary plan for each project
area selected.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francico at a requlaK
meeting held on the 9th day of January , 1985 by the following vote:

Mark N. Addiego; Member ~manue~e N. Uamonte; Member Gus Micolopu!os
