CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE
PORTTON OF F~t~T GRANll AVFNUF
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
California, as follows:
1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of
1941 (Streets and Highways Code Section 8300, et seq.).
2. Notice is hereby given that wednesday , the 2~t day of
June , I~?~ at 7:30 p.m., which time is not less than fifteen
(15) days from the date of passage of this Resolution, in the West Orange
Avenue Library (in the room referred to as the Auditorium), 840 West Orange
Avenue, South San Francisco, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place.
when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to, the pro-
posed vacation of a portion of East Grand Avenue
as hereinafter described, may appear before said Council and be heard.
3. Not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing date, a Copy of
this Resolution shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a news-
paper of general circulation printed and published in said City in the man-
ner prescribed by law for publishing ordinances in said City.
4. Notices of the vacation, stating the passage of the Resolution of
Intention and the time and place of hearing shall be posted conspicuously
along the line of the street, or part thereof, proposed to be vacated at

least ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing and not less than
three (3) notices shall be posted.
5. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the inten-
tion of this Council to vacate a portion of East Grand Avenue as shown on
the map entitled "Location Map, Proposed Abandonment of a Portion of East
Grand Avenue," attached hereto as Exhibit A, which is more particularly
described in Exhibit B attached hereto.
The public interest, convenience and necessity require the reserva-
tion of an easement for anchor and guy wire purposes which is more particu-
larly described in Exhibit B attached hereto, and by this reference incorpo-
rated herein as if set forth verbatim and the vacation proceedings are
taken subject to such reservation and exception. The City Council does
hereby reserve and except from such proceedings the easement for anchor and
guy wire purposes so described in Exhibit B.
6. A copy of this Resolution shall be submitted to the Planning Com-
mission of the City of South San Francisco for a report and recommendation
in accordance with the Government Code of the State of California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of ~a~ ,

That certain piece or parcel of land situate in the City of
South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California,
being a portion of the parcel of land described as PARCEL THR~E
in Indenture dated November 25, 1927 from South San Francisco~
Land and Improvement Company to South San Francisco Belt
Railway recorded April 28, 1928 in Volume 547 of Official
Records, page 400, records of.said San Mateo County, and
being more particularly described as follows'
Beginning at the north terminus of the east line
of Haskins Way, distant North 241.11 feet, measured
along said line, from its intersection with the
south line of Swift Avenue, as said intersection is
delineated upon that certain map entitled, "Bennett
and Kahnweiler Industrial Subdivision, South San
Francisco, San Mateo County, California", filed for
record August 25, 1972 and recorded in Book 77 of
Maps, pages 15 and 14, records of said San Mateo
County; thence from said Point of Beginning North '
45°21'05'' East, parallel with the monument line of
Haskins Way, as said line is shown upon.said map,
19.77 feet' to a point in the.southerly line of said
PARCEL THREE described in said Indenture; thence
continuing North 45°21'05'":.-East, 5.52 feet; thence
South 62°14'42'' East,. 102.96 feet; thence south-
easterly along a curve to'the left, from a tangent
bearing South 61°50'00'' East, having a radius of
515.80 feet, through a central angle of 7°24'55''
an arc length of 66.76 feet to a point of compound
curvature; thence easterly along a curve to the
left having a radius of 559.41 feet, through a
central angle of 18°46'04'' (tangent to said curve
at said point of compound curvature bears South

an angle point in the southerly line of said PARCEL
