CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH'SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING WESTERN TV CABLE'S
FRANCHISE IN ACCORDANCE. WITH SECTION 21
OF ORDINANCE NO 547 ~

WHEREAS, the City Council is authOrized to extend the Western TV
Cable Franchise in accordanCe with Ordinance No, 547 adopted the 6th
day of June, 1966, and Ordinance No. 563 adopted the 19th day of June'
1967,and
WNEREAS, Western TV Cable's FranChise expires on July 18, 1978,
and the Council desires to'eXtend said Franchise for a Period of one '(1)
year on the terms and conditions set fOrth in said Ordinances,as amended,
and said Franchise, pending a Complete review of said FranchiSe and a
negotiation of a new Franchise, and further deSires to waive the provisions
of SeCtion 20 of said Ordinance N°. 547 f°r the purpOses of this extension;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that'
1. Franchise Extension·
The FranchiSe 'eXtension granted to Western TV Cable pursuant to
Ordinances 547 and 563, as amended, is hereby extended to and inclUding
July 18, 1979.
2. Waiver of Provisions'of'SeCtion 20 of Ordinance No.547:
The Council hereby waives the procedUre set forth in Section
20 or Ordinance No. 547, for the purpose of this extension.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the CitY of SoUth San Francisco
