CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THOMAS P. GALLI.
WHEREAS, Thomas P. Galli has dedicated twenty-nine and one-half years
to the Fire Department of the City of South San Francisco and effectively
contributed to that Department as Fireman and Fire Captain, being the
City's first Fire Training Officer in which capacity he developed the
South San Francisco Fire Department Training Manuals, and
WHEREAS, he has also trained numerous industrial fire brigades for
the industrial areas, thereby contributing to the safety and protection
of people and property in those areas, and
WHEREAS, he is past Vice President of the San Mateo County Training
Officers Association and the senior Training Officer on the Peninsula, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to commend him therefor and by this
Resolution on the occasion of his retirement permanently record in the
official records an expression of appreciation for his contribution to the
welfare of this City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the Council does hereby commend Thomas P. Galli
for his contribution to fire safety training programs in the City of South
San Francisco and the welfare of this community, and does by this Resolu-
tion express and permanently record in its official records this expres-
sion of appreciation.
