CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN IMPERIAL
SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION AND
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
ESTABLISHING A TRUST FUND FOR THE
CITY PARK SITE ON APPIAN WAY.
WHEREAS, Imperial Savings and Loan Association, a California corpo-
ration (hereinafter "Imperial") proposes the development of an area known
as Westborough Units 4B and 4C within the City of South San Francisco, and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco (hereinafter "City") is the
owner of a City park site on Appian way which is more particularly described
in Exhibit A attache¢ hereto, and
WHEREAS, Imperial desires to facilitate improvement of the City park
site on Appian Way by transferring in trust to the City the sum of Eighty-
six Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($86,400), and
WHEREAS, City desires to accept said funds for said purposes, and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions providing for the transfer of said
funds and acceptance thereof are set forth in the agreement entitled
"Agreement Transferring Funds in Trust to the City of South San Francisco
to Facilitate Improvements of the City Park Site on Appian Way";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. Execution of the agreement entitled "Agreement Transferring Funds
in Trust to the City of South San Francisco to Facilitate Improvements of
the City Park Site on Appian Way" is hereby authorized.
2. The Mayor is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the
City and the City Clerk is authorized to attest his signature thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 19th day of July ~,
