A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
1978-79 STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM
(PROJECT ST-78-2) _
that:
RESOLVED. by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,.
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous authorization and published notice,
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 30th day of
August , 19 78, for
1978-79 Street Resurfacing Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or
bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract to
the lowest responsible bidder, -
LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY, INCORPORATED
for the bid price of seventy one thousand, four hundred and seventy five
($ 71,475.00 ).
2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized to make
and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder and the City
Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest his signature and.affix
thereto the corporate seal of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly'intro-
duced and adopted by the City .Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a r~-o,lar meeting held on the 6th day of September ,
1978 , by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmen Ronald G. Acosta, William A. Borba, Emanuele N. Damonte,
Terry J. Mirri; and Councilwoman Roberta Cerri Teglia
