CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING..RA¥
GREEN AND ROBERT GREEN',' ·
WHEREAS, Ray Green and Robert Green, South San Francisco Fire-
fighters, while off duty responded to an emergencY in the vicinity of the
Sharp Park Golf Course and rescued Michael Mabutas who had fallen off a
raft in a pond and had been submerged for almost five minutes; and
WHEREAS, their concern, expeditious action and skill in adminis-
tering emergency treatment saved the life of Anthony Michael Mabutas;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby commend Ray Green
and Robert Green for their heroic action and does order'this Resolution
to be recorded in the official records of the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of September , 1978, by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Ronald G. Acosta, William A. Borba, Emanuele N.
Damonte, Terry J. Mirri; ,nd Councilwoman Roberta Cerri Teglia
