A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED.MuNICIPAL
REORGANIZATION INVOLVING DETACHMENT FROM THE

WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission In Resolution No.
551, adopted September 20, 1978, approved, the proposed municipal reorgan-
ization involving detachment from the City of South San Francisco-of the
rear portions of Lots 21 through 27, Block 16, Winston Manor 2A (0.589+-.
acres), which lots front on Dundee Drive, and annexation of the same
to the City of Daly City pursuant to Government Code Section 35151, which
. .
.ReSolution also designated the City of Daly City as. the conducting authority
in accordance with Government Code Section 35031; and
WHEREAS, a copy of said Resoiut~on No. 551 is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the parcel map prepared by Martin M. Ron Associates, Land
Surveyors, 604 Mission Street, San Francisco, California, 'dated September
1978, which sets forth the boundaries approved by the Local Agency Formation
Commission, has been duly considered by this Council and same is on file
in the office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City of Daly City, in Resolution No. 78-253, adopted
October 23, 1978, entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of the City
of Daly City initiating Proceedings Re Municipal Reorganizai~ion And, as
Conducting Agent, Ordering Detachment from South San Francisco of the
lo¸
Rear Portions of LOts '21 Through 27,~ Which Lots Front on Dundee Drive,
and Annexation of same to City of Daly City Pursuant. to Part 2, Municipal
Organization Act of. 1977, Title 4, Division 2,. Commending with Chapter I,
Section 3500 et. Seq., of the Government Code" initiated proceedings regard-
.
lng the municipal .reorganization,as the Conducting authority. A copy of
said Resolution is attached hereto as Exhibit "B"; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco desires to approve said re-
organization and consent to the detachment of the rear portions of the
lots hereinbefore described and annexation of the same to the City of Daly
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South S~n Francisco that said Council does approve the municipal reorganiza-
tion proceedings herebefore described and does consent to the detachment
·
of the rear portions of Lots 21. through 27, Block 16, Winston Manor PA,
which lots front on Dundee Drive, and the annexation of the same to the
City of Daly City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be
forwarded to the Local Agency Formatioh Commission and the City of Daly
citY.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of. South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of~'November .

were made, ~resented or rS!ed, and all persons present were
given an opportunity to hear and be heard in respect to any
matter relating to said proposal and report.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Local Agency Formation Commission of
the County of San Mateo DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
· ORDER, 'as follows:
Section 1. Said proposal is approved.

Section 2. The boundaries, as set forth in t~e proposal e_nd
as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference
incorporated herein, are approved.
Section 3. Said territory is found to be inhabited, and
said territory is assigned the following distinctive short fo_~m.

directed to initiate proceedings in compliance with this reso!~-
tion; said proceedings may be held without notice and. hearing,
without an election or both, pursuant to Government Code Section
35151. '
section 5. ~ne Executive Officer is hereby authorized and
-directed to mail certified copies of this resolution in the m~ner
and as provided in Section 35159 of the Government Code. In
addition, said Executive Officer shall mail to said conduc~_._g
authority a copy of the. application/petition, map and legal
description, and environmental finding accompanying this proposal.
