CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE OPERATING BUDGET
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1978-79 (IN FINAL FORM)

WHEREAS, the City Council on August 30, 1978, adopted Resolution
No. 111-78 approving the Operating Budget for fiscal year 1978-79 in draft
form, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has now presented the 1978-79 Operating
Budget for the City of South San Francisco in final form, and the City
Council desires to approve same;
'NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco does:
1. Approve the City of South San Francisco's Annual Operating
Budget for fiscal year 1978-79 contained in four (4) volumes: (1) Volume 1
entitled "Summary-Revenues-General Government," (2) Volume 2 entitled
"Public Safety," (3) Volume entitled "Public Services" and (4) Volume 4
entitled "Cultural and Leisure Services."
2. Authorize the allocation of funds in the maximum sum of
Thirteen Million, One Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand, Sixty-Two Dollars
($13,198,062) to the departments and funds as therein set forth.
3. Order that fund transfers shall not be made in any of the
fol lowing wi thout approval of the Council:
(A) Inter-Departmental transfer of funds;

(B) Intra-Departmental transfer of funds;
from and to any of the following categories:
(1) Personnel Services;
(2) Materials and Services;
(3) Capital Outlay; and
(4) Debt Service.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regul ar meeting held this 6th day of December
19 78, by the following vote:
