HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso RPD 1-1978'SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RECREATIO~ AND PARK DISTRICT · RESOLUTION 1-7~ A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A~.BREAKWATER AT THE OYSTER POINT MARINA WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco and the San Mateo County Harbor District entered into a Joint Powers Agreement for the'Oyster ~tnt Marina Project, effective November 11, 1977~ and WHEREAS, implementation of the project requires construction of a new breakWater over certain tidelots, record title to which is held in the name of the South San Francisco Recreation and Park District for the City of South San Francisco and the Oyster Point Marina development, and WHEREAS, the City Councilmen, ex officio members of the Board of Directors of thO'-District, find that construction of the breakwater will implement the Oyster Point Marina development; NOW, THEREFORE, BE I~ RESOLVED bY the members of the City Council of~the City of South San Francisco, ex officio members of the Board of Directors of the Souti~ San Francisco Recreation and Park District, that, 1. Consent. Consent is hereby given to the San Mateo County Harbor District to construct, maintain, repair and replace a breakwater over, under across and through portions of Tidelots 28 and 29, Section 14, Township 3 South, Range 5 West, M.D. B&M, which are more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. 2. Subject to Joint Powers Agreement. The construction maintenance, repair and replacement of the project constructed pursuant to the Joint Po-'_=rs Agreement between the City of South San Francisco and the San Mateo County Harbor District, shall be subject to the terms of said Joint Powers Agreement the same as if it had been included in the project plans referred to in sa~d Agreement and amendments thereof. 3. Transmittal. The City Clerk, ex, officio Secretary of the South San Francisco Recreation and Park District, is authorized to transmit this Resolution to the San Mateo County Harbor District for the endorsement of an Acceptance thereon. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the Board of Directors of the South San Francisco Recreation and Park District at a special meeting held on the 20th day of December, 1978, by the following vote' AYES: Councilmen Ronald G.
