CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SUBMIT
THE ATTACHED APPLICATIONS FOR AN EDA
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco desires to work with the
Bethlehem Steel Corporation to analyze the most advantageous land uses, circu-
lation, market and economic systems for the future use of their property; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Administration has expressed an in-
terest in funding such a study for this site; and
WHEREAS, EDA has indicated that they should have approximately $15,000
available to fund this project if the City agrees to match approximately $5,000
with in-kind services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco hereby authorizes staff to submit the attached EDA appli-
cations and related forms.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a re.qular meeting held on the 21st day of February 1979 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Emanuele N. Damonte, Terry J. Mirri
Councilwoman Roberta Cerri Teqlia
NOES: Councilmen Ronald G. Acosta, William A. Borba
ABSTAINED: None
ABSENT: None
