RESOLUTION NO. 24-79
CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INVOLVING
30' x 360' CONTIGUOUS TO PONDEROSA
SCHOOL AND ADJACENT TO ALIDA WAY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of February, 1979, the Local Agency Forma-
tion Commission of the County of San Mateo did pass and adopt Resolution
No. 570, entitled "Resolution of the Local Agency Formation Commission of
the County of San Mateo Making Determinations and Approving the Proposed
Annexation of Territory Involving 30' x 360' Contiguous to Ponderosa School
and Adjacent to Alida way to the City of South San Francisco pursuant to
Government code Section 35151", which Resolution described the boundaries of
the territory proposed to be annexed to the City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of South San
Francisco and is uninhabited territory in the County of San'Mateo, State of
California; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said territory have given and executed their
written consent as provided by law ,that the property within the annexed
territory shall be annexed to the City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County of San
Mateo, pursuant 'to Government Code Sections 35031, 35151 and other related
sections, has given its approval and authorization to annex said territory
without notice, hearing or election; and
WHEREAS, the owners of private property included in the territory

to be annexed, have given written consent that said property within the
territory shall upon annexation be taxed and subject to taxation to pay any
indebtedness or liability of the City of South San Francisco contracted prior
to or existing at the time of annexation on the same basis as property is
taxed throughout said City, which written consent is presently on file with
the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of' the City of South San Francisco
does hereby'
1. Approve the annexation of the l~err~'tory hereinafter described to
the City of'~South San Francisco, and does further order that the said ter-
ritory be and is hereby annexed to the City of South San Francisco and th~
same is designated' ~ "Annexation' of 30' x 360'contiguous to Ponderosa School
and Adjacent to Alida--Way to .the City of South San Francisco" described in Ex'
hibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
2. Directs the' City Clerk~to .prepare and file the following with
the'San Mateo County Local Agency Formation Commission' (a) six dertified
copies of this Resolution approving the annexation, (b) six copies of the map
and legal description of the boundaries approved by LAFCO, (c) Six copies of
-the LAFCO map showing .boundaries of the area,' (d)..a check made payable to
-the'State Board of. Equali~zation for the filing and processing' fees in accord-
ance with Government'Code Section 54902 and related sections, and (e) specifi-
cation of the existing bonded indebtedness and/or contractual obligation which
wi ll affect the territory.
