CITY COUNCIL, CIl~Y OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING RUSSELL BRABEC
WHEREAS, RUSSELL BRABEC has served as a dedicated volunteer in
the South San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department since 1973;
and
WHEREAS, he has performed .services in the follow.ing.capacities for
the South San Francisco Aquatics Club, a.program of the Parks and Recre-
ation Department' 1974 President of. Aquatics Club, 1975 President Of
Aquatics Club, 1976 President of Aquatics Club, 1977 Vice-President of
Aquatics Club, 1978 Vice-President of Aquatics Club and '1979 Vice-Presi-
dent of Aquatics Club; and
WHEREAS, he has served as Director for numerous Department sponsored
AAU swim meets; and
WHEREAS, his distinguished services earned the 1978 California Parks
and Recreation 'Society Volunteer Citation Award; and
WHEREAS, 'the City Council.desires to commend him therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
SOuth SanFrancisco that the members of this Council do hereby commend and

express appreciation to RUSSELL BRABEC for his contribution to the wel-
fare of this City.
