A RESOL[ItIoN COMMENDING
RALPH DAV I S
WHEREAS, RALPH DAVIS, Acting Superintendent of Public Works, is
retiring as of May. 1, 1979, after over twenty-two years as an employee of the
Cit~ of South San Francisco, during which period he served the City as Mainten-
ance Worker I, S'pecial Police Officer and Deputy Pound Master, Maintenance
. .
Worker II, Maintenance Worker III,Heavy Equipment Operator, Maintenance Worker
IV and Public Works Supervisor, and
WHEREAS, RALPH DAVIS has been instrumental in introducing highly
specialized heavy equipment operations and sewer collection syStem procedures,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council. of the.City of South San Francisco
desires on this occasion of his retirement to commend him therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council~ of the City
of South San Francisco that the City Council does hereby commend RALPH DAVIS,
Acting Superintendent of Public Works, for his faithful and capable services to
the City of South San Francisco, and does order this Resolution incorporated in
the official records of the City as this Council's expression thereof, and its
wishes for a long and happy retirement.
