CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
FRANK J. ADDIEGO
WHEREAS, FRANK J. ADDIEGO, Director of Public Services is resigning
as of July 20, 1979, to accept the Department of Public Works position in
Redwood City, and
WHEREAS, Frank J. Addiego diligently applied his professional skills
to the administration of this City's Public Services Department, resulting
in numerous significant accomplishments, including, but not limited to
re-establishment of the Public Services, Engineering, Building Inspection,
Planning & Zoning functions; coordinating a joint Sewage Plant modification
with'the United States agencies, State agencies, and local jurisdictions..
involving lO million dollars ($10,000,000.00) in Federal Grants; advancing
the city's interests in completion of several projects in Colma Creek to
minimize flood hazards, and establishing a professiOnal, courteous, equitable
approach to the matters administered by his department,
WHEREAS, during his tenure with City of South San Francisco, he
also served for 6 months as Acting City Manager,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco on this
occasion desires to commend him therefore, and to express to him its wishes
for a continued success,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council does hereby express
appreciation to Frank J. Addie§o for his contribution to the welfare of this
community and does order this Resolution incorporated into its offi'cial records.
