CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF THE
DRAFT HOUSING ELEMENT TO THE DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
FOR REVIEW
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Community Development (herein-
after "Department"), pursuant to Title 25, SubChapter 4, Chapter 6, Section
6478, as amended (hereinafter "Guidelines"), required submittal of the
City's local housing element for review, and
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Planning Commission (hereinafter
"Planning Commission"), after hearings dulY noticed and held, reviewed and
incorporated the following'
1. Housing Goals and Objectives,
2. Additional Recommendations for the proposed updated Housing
E1 ement.

3. Appendix 1, Housing Element, City of South San Francisco
Proposed Neighborhood Development Program.
in developing the proposed updated Housing Element, and
WHEREAS, the City Council in accOrdance with the Planning Commission's
recommendations contained in Resolution No. 2254, adopted May 8, 1979, has
received and considered the Draft Element and now desires to approve sub-
mittal thereof to the Department in accordance with the Guidelines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that the Draft Housing Element entitled "Proposed Updated
Housing Element" is approved for submittal to the Department in accordance
with the Guidelines.
