CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING COMPENSATION AND
OTHER BENEFITS FOR THE CITY CLERK, CITY
TREASURER AND CITY MANAGER, AND HEALTH AND
WELFARE BENEFITS~ FOR THE CITY COUNCIL
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1. City Clerk, City Treasurer and City Manager:
The compensation and other benefits for the City Clerk, City
Treasurer and City Manager shall be as follows:
1.1 City Clerk: The City Clerk's salary of Three Hundred
Dollars ($300) per month which commenced as of the date of
appointment shall be increased by Fifty Dollars ($50) per
month six (6) months after said date, and then increased
by an additional Fifty Dollars ($50) per month twelve (12)
months after said date. The person serving as City Clerk
shall also receive the current salary for the City employee
classified or unclassified position held by said person when
appointed as City Clerk.
1.2 City Treasurer and City Manager: Commencing with the pay
period which includes July 1, 1979, the base salary paid for
fiscal year 1979-80 shall be increased by eight and three tenths
(8.3) percent and each of said offices shall have the other
benefits set forth in Unit 1, Management's Memorandum of
Understanding for fiscal year 1979-80.

2. City Council: The members of the City.Council shall be
entitled to the following insurance benefits equivalent to
those provided for Unit 1, Management, in the Memorandum of
Understanding for fiscal year 1979-80-
(a) Health Insurance Plan.
(b) Dental Care Plan.
(c) Life Insurance, including accident death and dismemberment
coverage, in the amount of Five Thousand. Dollars ($5,000).
(d) Vision Care Plan.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City. Council of the City of South San Francisco
at an adjourned meeting held this 28th day ~of November, 1979, by the
following vote:
