A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GRANT OF AN EASEMENT
TO PACIFIC, GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY, A
CALIFORNIA CORPORATION
that-
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
1. Grant of Easement.
The City of South San Francisco hereby authorizes the Grant of an
Easement to the Pacific, Gas and Electric Company, a California corporation,
as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, provided said easement contains
a requirement that grantee shall pay any relocation costs and expenses in the
event such relocation is required for public purposes.
2. Execution.
The Mayor and/or Vice-Mayor are authorized to execute said Grant of
Easement on behalf of the City, and the City Clerk to attest his signature
thereto.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
reoul~mr meeting held on the 2Or'ay of Febrg&ry , 19 80,,

EASEMENT
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, a public body of the state of
California,
first party, hereby grants to PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY, a California
corpora tion, .
second party, the right from time to time to construct, install, inspect, maintain, replace,
remove, and use facilities of the type hereinafter specified, together with a right of way
therefor, within a strip or parcel of land or along a route as' hereinafter set forth, and also
ingress thereto and egress therefrom, over and across the lands situate in the City of South
San Francisco County of San Hateo , State of California, described
as follows:

B.eginninq at the most westerly corner of Lot 206 of Souhhwood '
No. 3 Subdivision, as said lot is shown upon the map filed
for record in Book 24 of Maps ah page 40, San Mateo County
Records, and running, thence along the southwesterly boundary
line of said Lot 206 and the southwesterly boundary line of
Southwood Drive (60 feet wide)., as said drive is shown upon
said map,
(1) South 39°59'30'' East 160 feet to the intersection of
said southwesterly boundary line of Southwood Drive with the
northwesterly boundary line of Lot 253,' as said lot is shown
upon said map; thence along said northwesterly boundary line
of Lot 253 and the southwesterly prolongation thereof

(2) South 50000'30'' West 85 feet; thence northwesterly,
parallel with and distant 85 feel southwesterly from (measured
at a right angle to) said southwesterly boundary line of
Souhhwood Drive and said southwesherly boundary line of Lot 206

southwesterly prolongation of the north;~esterly boundary line

EXHIBIT "A" TO RESOLUTION NO. 13-SOADOPTED 2/~0/80~
(4) North 50°00'30'' East 85 feet to the point of
beginning.
Said facilities shall consist of:
One or more underground pipes with suitable service pipes and
connections for the conveyance of gas located within the strip-
of land described as follows:
A strip of land of the uniform width of 5 feet, extending
entirely across said lands, and lying 2.5 feet on each Side
of a line which begin~ at a point in said southwesterly boun-
dary line of Southwood Drive and runs thence
(1) South 50000'30'' West 2.5 feet; thence northwesterly,
parallel with and distant 2.5 feet southwesterly from (measured
at a right angle to) said northeasterly boundary line of said
lands

(2) North 39059'30'' West 97.5 feet; thence
(3) South 50o45' West 82.5 feet, more or less, to a
point in the southwesterly boundary line of said lands;
said point of beginning bears North 39o59'30'' West 51.5
feet distant from the most easterly corner of said lands.
In the event of the facilities installed hereunder interfere with
future governmental uses of first party on said premises second
party shall within 90 days after receiving written notice from
first party so to do, at second party's own cost and expense,
remove and relocate in a location mutually agreed upon on said
premises such of said facilities so interfering; provided, however,
that first party at the same time grant to second party all rights
second party may deem necessary to effect said relocatiqn.

First party shall not erect or construct any building or other structure or drill or oPerate'anY well
within the strio of land hereinbefore described.
The pro~rsions hereof shall inure to the benefit of and bind the successors and assigns of the
respective parties h. ereto.
