A RESOLUTION ORDERING lHE VACATION
OF A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT -
10' PUE ACROSS LOT 5, BLOCK 33 ~ESTBOROUGH UNIT NO. 4A
BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the City of South San FranciSco
that' this Council does hereby find, order and determine that:

1. The City CoUncil on the 20th day of. February , 19.80 ·

adopted its Resolution No. 15-80 entitled A resolution orderng th~
vacation of a public service easement - lO' PUE across lot 5, block 33'
Westborough Unit No. 4A
2. Said Resolution recited that the proceedings were taken pursuant to

the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Section 50430, of the Government
Code.
3. Itotices were published and posted as required by law in accordance
with said Resolution of Intention, all as appears in the Affidavit of Publi-
cation and the Affidavit of Posting on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said City.

7:30 p.m., in the West Orange Avenue Library (in the room referred to as
the Auditorium), 840 West Orange Avenue, South San Francisco, 'California, was-
fixed in said Resolution of Intention as the time and place when and where any
and all persons interested in, or having any objection to, said proposed vaca-
tion could appear before said Council and be heard.
3. No objections of any kind or character have been or were made or
filed against said vacation.
6. A report of the Planning Commission of the City of South San
Francisco has been received and filed recommending the vacation and aban-
donment of said public service easement.
7. The public service easement is unnecessary for present or prospec-
tive~ public use and the public interest, convenience and necessity require,
and the Council does hereby order, the vacation and abandonment of the pub-
lic service easement, which is more particularly desCri'bed in Exhibi't "~,"
attached hereto.
8. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certified copy of this
ResolUtion and order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded

in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo.

the County of San Marco, State of California on August 28· 1972
in Book 77 of Maps, Pages 18, 19 and 20, lying adjacent to and
easterly of the westerly line of said lot 5 more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at an intersection of the westerly line Of said lot 5
with the northerly line of Appian Way, thence from said POINT OF
BEGINNING northerly along the westerly line of said lot S, N 5°
21' W· 296.74 feet.
