RESOLUTION NO. 51-80
CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION PROJECT ST-79-1
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, San
-Mateo County, California, that
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of March, 1980, the City Clerk of the City
publicly opened, examined and declared all sealed proposals or bids for the
work to be done and improvements to be made, as described and specified in
Resolution of Intention No. 2-79, adopted by this Council on January 3, 1979,
to which resolution and the plans and specifications reference is hereby made
for a description of the work and improvements to be done and the materials,
supplies and equipment to be furnished therefor; and
WHEREAS, said bids were refer~red to and considered by this Council at
its meeting on May 7, 1980; ~_
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows-
1. This Council hereby rejects all-of said proposals or bids except
that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work
and improvements and furnishing the supplies, materials and equipment
necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:

2. The Mayor of this City is hereby authorized to make and enter into a
written contract with said successful bidder, and to receive and approve all
bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of this City is hereby
directed to attest the signature of said Mayor and affix thereto the official
seal of this City.
3. The Director of Public Works shall, within .five (5) days of the
adoption of this resolution, transmit an Extract of Public Works Contract
Award to the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship
Standards, P.O. Box 603, San Francisco, California 94101. Should a finding of
any discrepancy regarding the ratio of apprentices to journeymen be made, the
Division of Apprenticeship Standards shall be notified of suc~ findings.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on this ?l;h day of MaY , 1980, by the following
