CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING WESTERN TV CABLE'S
FRANCHISE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 21
OF ORDINANCE NO. 547
WHEREAS, the City Council~ is authorized to extend the Western TV
Cable Franchise in-accordance with Ordinance No. 547, adopted the 6th day.
of June, 1966; and Ordinance No. 563, adopted the 19th day of June, 1967,
and;
WHEREAS, Western TV Cable's Franchise expires on July 18, 1980,
and the Council desires to extend said Franchise to September 1, 1980, on
the terms and conditions set forth in said Ordinances, as amended, and said
Franchise, pending complete review of said Franchise and a negotiation of a
new Franchise, .and further desires to waive the provisions of Section 20 .of
said Ordinance No. 547 for the purposes of this extension;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that:
1. Franchise Extension-
The Franchise extension granted to Western TV Cable pursuant
to Ordinances 547 and 563, as amended, is hereby extended to and including
October 1, 1980.
2. Waiver of Provisions of Section 20 of Ordinance 547'
The Council hereby waives the procedure set forth in Section 20
of Ordinance No. 547, for the purpose of this extension.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
